Grow Your Business with Promotional Products: Tip #2 - Quality Counts!
Please, please, PLEASE make sure the quality of the promotional item you choose is a reflection of your brand image. We work only with the most highly rated suppliers in the industry to ensure great quality and service, but even that is not a 100% guarantee. ALWAYS request a sample and "try before you buy."
If you are considering...
Travel mugs - get it, use it, make sure it does not LEAK and that it's something you'd want to keep and use again and again.
Pens - get it, use it and make sure the writing quality is what you'd expect. Nothing is more frustrating than a pen that does not work. And if it has your logo on it, that frustration will be projected onto your brand!
Car Magnets - a long story here, which I may post here in the future. I do not recommend full color, digitally printed car magnets, choose one that is screen printed with spot colors. They use a different manufacturing process and are way more durable. It's fun to see your message driving around town where people are sure to take notice - saw this one at the gym the other day!
USB Drives - make sure they are Tier 1 chips that come with a lifetime warranty. This means that the USB manufacturer uses only leading high quality, brand-name memory. What could be worse than your customer finding that the cool USB drive you gave him flat out does not function?
Apparel - from t-shirts to golf shirts to button-downs and outer wear, there is a wide range of apparel quality out there from the very cheap to high end name brands like Adidas and Nike. Again, get a sample! Especially if you are going with a high dollar item, it is WELL worth paying for a sample.
